Frs Chris and Patrick and Deacon Jim were thrilled to be part of the survivor premiere kick-off with parishioner Justin Pioppi and his family at the Kowloon restaurant. Justin is a contestant on this year’s series. The Survivor show airs on CBS every Wednesday at 8pm. The Pioppi family owns Luigi’s Pizza in Revere and are very generous supporters to all endeavors at St. Michael. Justin survived the first episode. The Winthrop tribe has spoken: Congratulations, Justin!

We congratulate Marissa Leonard, our Director of Religious Ed, on the birth of her first child, Cecilia Faustina. She was born on April 30. Please keep her and her husband, James, in prayer as they begin the exciting adventure of raising a family! Here is a picture of them at Cecilia’s Baptism.

The parish staff gathered to wish Michelle, our youth minister, and Andrew a warm bon voyage as they prepare to head west to Kansas! Many thanks, Michelle!

Special thank you to Scott Beuoy and his dad and many friends and scouts who painted the parish center cafe. Thank you to all parishioners who generously donated funds for this project. Scott is using this as part of his efforts towards the Eagle Scout Award.
